Pure sine wave: Pure wave inverters produce a sine wave identical to the mains, and can power any 230V appliance
Modified sine wave: Modified sine wave inverters generate a waveform that can damage some appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, LED, energy-saving or neon lights, or inductive loads such as pumps, and are therefore not recommended for these applications.
